I returned to the halls of St. Peter’s School in 1987 as the school secretary. I say “returned” because I attended this school originally in 1963 as a student. I graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and worked at the Utica Teachers Federal Credit Union from 1971-1981. In 1981, I gave up my job to stay home with my two sons, Richard Jr. and Christopher.

I reside in North Utica with my husband, Rick Sr., who taught at Waterville High School and is now retired. Our two sons, Ricky and Christopher, are both graduates of St. Peter’s School and Notre Dame Jr. Sr. High School. Christopher just recently graduated from RIT with a masters degree in mechanical engineering.

Yes, it’s unbelievable that over a period of 41 years I’ve been entering these same halls at St. Peter’s, which hold many fond memories and have become dear to my heart.
